Troy, AL - Deer Run RV Park

When it gets a little too warm for us in Florida we head north. We like to stick to the low country so we have traveled up through Alabama a lot. We might get off I-10 and go up US-231. Just past Troy we found our favorite RV Park on that highway. It’s evolved a lot since we first stopped there with better entrance roads and services. But the friendly, quiet atmosphere has remained constant. Normally we just spend a night or two there. It’s very easy to do with the nice long level sites and complete FHU services.

Here are a few pictures. I’m going to add some from Fort Rucker too as we have visited the Army aviation museum located on that base.

Don’t forget to click on any of the pictures to start the slide show.

Fort Rucker is rich in Army Aviation heritage and the Aviation Museum is well worth a visit.
