Frog Level RV Park - Philadelphia, MS

Early in our full time traveling years during our first trip north out of western Florida we found Philadelphia, MS. We were just meandering up through AL & MS using rural roads and hunting for a place to spend the night. We were using the catalog sized RV park finders at the time and found the Frog Level RV Park listing and a side bar advertising the Silver Star & Golden Moon casinos. We had no idea there were any that far from the water in MS because we were heading for our first stop in the Tunica area.

  The Frog Level location was and still is conveniently located and the casinos will send transportation there to pick-up customers. On this first stop many of the roads were under heavy construction and the golf course wasn’t finished. The walk-over and people mover between casinos was finished and provides great access to both casinos. The only day I had a camera was on our departure day and it was raining but I got one of the construction.

  Not long after our first stop there we had some long time friends from our Navy days move there to work in the casinos. We have made numerous stops there and still use the Frog Level for parking. There have been ups and downs with management changes but currently its on the up swing. We use one of the largest sites at about 60’. With careful placement we can stay connected to the trailer and still be level.
