Las Vegas - The Circus Circus

This stop at Las Vegas was a very special occasion. We were traveling with our long time friends - Don & Betty - and Don’s daughter was getting married in one of those neat little wedding chapels. Family members were coming from all over the country, including a brother from Hawaii. All were staying at various Strip hotels. So we splurged and made a two week reservation at the Circus Circus RV Park.

Now the Circus Circus RV Park is a KOA managed facility. It’s very unique as the entire RV parking areas are paved like a parking lot. All sites are FHU with 50 amp service. If you’re there in warm/hot weather you better have good air-conditioning because shade is not available.

From your site you can walk to the back entrance of the casino and then ride one of the belt type people movers to the strip where you can catch a bus or cab to any other locations. We like the bus rides. They will take passengers all the way downtown.

There are a lot of other RV parks in and around Las Vegas and Nellis AFB has a Campground on base if you qualify to stay there.
